"Josie", In Memoriam, acrylics, March 2004

I posed the dog, a purebred Pomeranian, on the beach at dusk and took the photo. Then, a year later, I decided to turn the snapshot into a portrait. Dec 2006 Update: Josie has passed on. This web page is dedicated to the memory of her. She was my mother's best friend and companion for 15 years.
